Industrial Physics, Inc., a global leader in test and measurement equipment, today announced the purchase of Quality By Vision, a global leader in the development and manufacture of quality and process control systems for the metal packaging industry.

Industrial Physics’ brands address critical test and measurement needs of customers in a broad range of industries with an emphasis on packaging and packaging-related applications including food and beverage, metal cans, flexible packaging, paper and plastics, paints and coatings, medical device and consumer electronics markets. Industrial Physics companies are helping customers meet the ever-increasing test and quality standards required by demanding regulators, consumers and manufacturers. Industrial Physics is a portfolio company of Union Park Capital, a private-equity firm that specializes in industrial technology investments.

Quality By Vision was founded in 1997 by Benny LaOr and Ofer LaOr, and has experienced significant growth over the years by providing high-quality and innovative products for metal package testing applications.  With the acquisition of Quality By Vision,  Industrial Physics augments its portfolio of products to serve customers requiring metal package inspection and vision systems. Quality By Vision joins Testing Machines Inc., Messmer Büchel, Systech Illinois, TM Electronics, Ray-Ran Test Equipment, CMC-KUHNKE, United Testing Systems, Eagle Vision and TQC-Sheen as an independent Industrial Physics operating company.
